Data Security Guidelines - Information on Data Protection pursuant to Art. 13 and Art. 14 GDPR

1. Preamble

We, JoinVision E-Services GmbH (hereafter „JoinVision“) collect, process and use your personal data according to the statements below in compliance with the data protection rights and civil law. Only personal data, which are required to perform and deliver our services or which you provided voluntarily will be collected.

2. Party Responsible for Data Processing

JoinVision E-Services GmbH, registration number FN271009v, with is registered office in 1050 Vienna, Wehrgasse 28/3+4 is responsible for the processing of data. JoinVision appointed a data protection supervisor. This person can be reached under the address 1050 Vienna,Wehrgasse 28/3+4 or via e-mail: datasecurity@joinvision.com.

3. Data Security

We take data protection very seriously and treat your personal data as confidential information and in accordance with the legal regulations. Personal data are kept confidential by appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions concern in particular the protection against unauthorized, illegal and accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation.

Note that online data transfer can generally exhibit security gaps. A full protection against access by others is not feasible. Despite the efforts to comply with the always appropriately high level of accuracy criteria, it cannot be ruled out that information, which was disclosed by you online, will be seen or used by others.

4. Data Processing Activities

A. Website Visits

Description

All visitors of our website are processed via server logfiles data. The collected data are used to ensure the functionality of the website and for statistical evaluations. We reserve the right to check the data in retrospect if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

Access timestamp, amount of sent data in byte, source/link, used browser, used operating system, used IP address (internet protocol address)

Purpose of the data processing is the improvement of the website’s usability, the detection and prevention of malware and attacks and to be able to react to your requests.

B. Using the RapidParser Demo

Description

You can use our product “RapidParser” free of charge for your own purposes (https://www.rapidparser.com/test). The personal data submitted by you will be stored only for the processing duration. An anonymous data set will be stored for statistical purposes. In case critical processing errors, the submitted data will viewed for the purpose to improve the service.

Only those data categories listed in ‘Categories of precessed data’ are processed (identifies, transforms and explicitly exports). All personal data categories, which are thereof excluded or go beyond, such as biometric data (from photos, language, videos, signatures, etc.), health data, ethnicity (cf. Art. 9 GDPR: special personal data) and denomination will not be identified, transformed or explicitly exported, even if conclusions could be drawn from the transferred data sets. As no technical measures to process those special categories of personal data are employed, the data transmitter bears the responsibility for these data.

Job goals (Salary, date of availability, position, postal address)

Purpose

With the RapidParser demo we offer users and interested parties the possibility to test our software regarding functionality and accuracy without any further obligations.

Legal basis for the processing via the CVlizer is the consent according to Art. 6 lit a, the legal basis for compiling statistics is the legitimate interest according to Art. 6 lit f GDPR.

C. Registration

Description

In order to evaluate our Product in our Sandbox Environment you have to create an account. This requires a minimum of personal data as first name, surname and email address. If you want to use our product in order to purchase credits you have to complete your account by providing your company name and billing address as well.

D. Buying Credits

Description

In order to use our service you have to purchase credits. The payment process is handled by an external payment service provider.

Legal basis for the processing of personal information is the performance of a contract according to Art. 6 lit b as well as the legitimate interest according to Art. 6 lit f GDPR.

5. User’s Rights

You can contact us at any time to claim your legal rights according to the GDPR, especially the right to information concerning your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing (Art. 15) as well as the right to correction (Art. 16), right to deletion of incorrect or unlawfully processed data (Art. 17), right to object (Art. 21), right to revoke consent (Art. 21), right to restrict processing and to block (Art. 18) and right to data portability (Art. 20). In so far as your personal data changes, we ask for appropriate notification.

These requests for information, deletion, correction, contradiction and/or data transfer in the latter case as long as this does not cause a disproportionate effort are to be addressed to the data protection supervisor via office@rapidparser.com or to the mentioned address. Please attach an explicit and plausible proof of identity, so we can send our answer compliant with data protection laws to the actual person concerned. We will react to the request within one month and will justify a rejection if necessary. In case of a justified request for deletion or correction the recipients of personal data will also be informed to perform automatically.

In case of data breach we will inform you and the responsible supervisory authority if legally necessary, indicating the affected data category.

6. Right of Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates the applicable data protection law or your granted rights in accordance with the data protection law are infringed in any other way, you have to possibility to file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority. 7. Transfer to Third Parties / Recipients in Third Countries

To fulfil our business purpose, we will possibly transfer your data to third parties (employers, authorities / courts, tax advisory firms, banks, IT service providers, chambers of commerce, providers, website hosting companies, social media, insurance companies, which we use and which we supply with data). A lawful transfer of your data is only conducted on the basis of GDPR regulations.

Your personal data will normally not be transferred to recipients in third countries. However, some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located or process your personal data outside your home country. The standards of data protection in other countries might not correspond with Austrian standards. Nonetheless, we transfer your personal data only to countries, which have appropriate standards of data protection in place according to the EU commission or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have appropriate standards of data protection in place, wherefore we close standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC) or have sufficiently suitable contractual guarantees.

8. Cookies

To improve our website’s technical function, analysis of user behaviour (remarketing), this website uses “cookies”. Using cookies increases the website’s usability and safety. Cookies are little textual data, which the website saves on the visitor’s device and which record information about the user and the website. Cookies can serve different purposes. The most common use case is the recognition of users. Common browsers offer setting options to not permit cookies. Note: it is not guaranteed that you can use all features of this website without limitations if you make these setting changes. One type of cookies is used on this website to save person related data: Session Cookies. These are temporary cookies, which remain in your browser’s cookie data until leaving the website and which will be deleted automatically afterwards.

In addition, we do not use any other technologies to recognize or trace users or visitors. By using our services the visitor gives their consent for using the aforementioned cookies, if the user did not deactivate the using of cookies in their browser (deactivate cookies in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox). You can also block or delete cookies after they have been stored on your computer. For more information on that please use your browser’s “help” function.

9. Google Analytics

This website is uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA („Google“). Google Analytics uses so called cookies, text data, which will be stored on your computer to allow analysis of your website use. We process your data based on our predominant, justified interest to create an easy-to-use website access statistic in a cost-efficient way (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR). The information generated by cookies regarding your using the website (including your IP address and the accessed websites’ URLs) are transferred to and stored at Google’s servers in the USA. We do not store any of your data, which are collected in connection with Google Analytics. This website uses the option of IP anonymisation offered by Google Analytics. Thus, your IP address will be shortened/anonymised by Google as soon as Google receives your IP address. On our account Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to create reports about website activities and to provide other services provided with the use of the website or internet. The IP address sent from your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be mixed with other data by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies in the settings of your browser software. However, we must point out that you might not be able to use all functions of this website properly.
